Konoha Forest
Shikamaru sighed while waited for Tsome and Xerin to arrive."This is so troublesome."
"Whats troublesome?" Tsome asked from behind him.
Xerin blinked."How'd you get ahead of me?"
Shikamaru turned around."Just dealing with this guy again is troublesome. Anyways I don't think I need to make to hard of a plan for this guy. All we really have to do is avoid getting cut and letting him consume our blood. But if he has greatly improved I've made several back up plans. Xerin since your a close range fighter I want you to fight him up close and distract him while Tsome hits him with some powerful moves and I'll catch him right before your move hits Tsome insuring it dose. Make sure you aim for his head and or neck. You can't kill him only immobilize him. Everyone understand.
Xerin nodded.
Tsome nodded and smiled happily. "Yup."
"Allright then we will go northeast he should be when I first beat him." Shikamaru began jumping through the trees heading towards Hidan's location.
Xerin fallowed.
Tsome followed as well, calm as a spring breeze.
Hidan could be seen standing on the exact position he had been buried at. The smoked forest and crumbled ground crunched underfoot. "Well well well, its the shadow freak. I've been expecting you."
Shikamaru stopped and raised his hand up telling the others to stop as well."Come back so I could beat you again? How bothersome. What are you real motives? I know your an idiot but I also know your not stupid enough to come back here steal our old hokage just for revenge. so what is it your up to? collecting another bounty or something else."
Xerin cracked his knuckles standing ready just in case.
Tsome looked around slightly. She was being very cautious of her surroundings. A force of habit for her.
"On the contrary. Now matter how much i want to thrash your lazy butt, i am on a mission." Hidan held up a small piece of paper with intricate symbols written on it. "This is a summoning parchment that will transport your dear old witch here. In return i want you to bring me the nine tailed fox. The exchange will be even after i take a few measures to make sure he wont scamper off after the trade."
"Why do you want him that bad? I mean shit, its ridiculous." Tsome said. She rolled her eyes. "Geez, can't fight your own battles with your own powers, so you have to gather yourselves more, its so stupid. Power hungry bastards..." Tsome chuckled.
Hidan chuckled to himself. "Blind cow." He managed. "I could single handedly massacre everyone in your village. It has nothing to do with wanting more power. Its all apart of Pain's plan and thats all you need to know. Got it?"
"The blind one was my brother, not me." Tsome smiled sweetly, though now she was getting very irritated. "And no, I don't think I do get it, you over religious pig." she said.
"My Lord Jashin has nothing to do with you, heathen. Now get your precious little blond boy." Hidan snorted getting to the point.
Shikamaru pushed Tsome back alittle."Tsome were not here to argue. Were here to get the 5th back. I had a feeling thats what you were after. Naruto come on out."
Naruto jumped down from a tree."I'm here now give us back granny Tsunade."
"Show us the 5th and let us confirm its her then we will begin the trade."said Shikamaru.
"Not quite yet." Hidan walked up and poked Naruto with his scythe to make sure he didn't poof and disappear like a shadow clone would.
"Give us Granny Tsunade right now or else." Naruto said starting to get angry.
"Naruto calm down. We've held our end now give us the 5th." said Shikamaru.
"Hold it." Hidan pulled out another paper and slapped it to Naruto's forehead. Instantly it glowed red and the text spread doen over the intirty of naruto paralyzing him completely, the symbol of Jashin flashing on his forehead. "This is a restriction ritual powered by the will of Jashin, not your ir your fox can break it." he chuckled before picking Naruto up and throwing him over his shoulder. "Here you go." The piece of summoning scroll poofed up in smoke as Tsunade appeared on the spot bond and gagged. "See ya." Hidan joked before dashing off at break neck speed.
Tsome growled. "We gonna give chase? I wasn't done yet..." she muttered.
Shikamaru untied Tsunade."No were not."
Xerin turned to Shikamaru."So were just giving up Naruto and leaving him for dead!"
"Yes now were gonna make sure the 5th gets back to the village."said Shikamaru.
"You can. I'm going to save Naruto." Tsome growled, chasing after Hidan.
Shikamaru took Tsunade back to the village.
Xerin grabbed Tsome's arm and stopped her."You have to trust Shikamaru. I know its hard, but he would never let anything happen to his friends. Shikamaru is always 10 steps ahead and this has to be apart of his plan. Now lets head back."
Tsome looked back and sighed. "If anything happens to Naruto, I swear I'm gonna kill someone." she growled.
Hidan placed the now immobile Naruto on the edge of a lake before stepping into the water causing a doorway to open in the lake leading to the extraction chamber. "Mission complete leader." He said while the water sealed behind him and dropping his load on the floor. He joined the rest of the Akatsuki for the ritual.
Naruto started laughing."So this is your hide out and you must be the infamous Pein. I've been waiting a long time to meet you." he smirked.
Shikamaru and Tsunade got back to the village and Shikamaru went to report to Cedric. "Hokage, sir the mission was a success they took him as planned, but are you sure he will be able to keep his mouth shut long enough for us to find the Akatsuki?"
Cedric spun his chair around."I doubt it but knowing him he will ether join them or destroy um before we get there, it all depends on how the Akatsuki feels about the uninvited guest."
Hidan delivered one swift kick to Naruto's groin. "Shaddup you worm." He smirked at his helplessness.
"I have a quick question before you guys start your little ritual. What would happen if you preformed the ritual on a person without a Jinchuuriki?" asked Naruto.
"You would simply loose your soul." Hidan smirked, he knew what was happening.
Naruto blinked alittle."I see." he started to try and blow the symbol off his forehead.
Hidan caught sight of what he was doing and jumped down to slap fifty more randomly on his prisoner. "Cant have you escaping."
Naruto growled."grrrr why don't you take these off of me and fight me or are you too scared."
"Now why would i do that?" Hidan jumped up and started to his hands signs as the great statue appeared with eight of its eyes open. It opened its mouth emitting a white smoke that surrounded Naruto.
Naruto smirked."Thats all I needed to see." Naruto suddenly vanished into hundreds of crows then suddenly the front entrance exploded and the silhouette of someone was standing in the dust. "Now then did you really think I was just gonna die from something as pathetic as that?" Xerin smirked as the dust settled.
Cedric gave the orders for Tsome, Kakashi, Naruto, Shikamaru, and Justin to go as back up.
Tsome sighed. "Why didn't I just go when I had the chance..." she mumbled.
"Cause we needed to find their location, if they knew it was a trap the whole time they wouldn't of showed us their base instead they would of brought us to a place were we would be ambushed." said Shikamaru.
Hidan laughed manically. "And the mice come in for the cheese. Now zetsu!" The flytrap ninja came right from under Narutos feet closing him up in his 'mouth' and vanished back into the ground. The doorway closed over with a massive immovable boulder that had been set up with jutsu. And water began to rush in from the floor. All the members faded into darkness with the statue except hidan. "You idiots! Did you really think it would be that easy?!?!? I would simply bring right to the alter. Hell no. Besides pain would have seen right through your shitty genjutsu! Hello master of eye jutsu! And i would even need Ari for the ceremony. Now you will all drown along with me, except i wont."
Justin grinted his teeth. "Damn it was a counter trap!"
Xerin smirked."Heh you think so? Well you don't know my mangekyo sharingans true ability very well. I told you if I see a jutsu I can use it." everyone else except for Xerin and Hidan were teleported outside of the cave."You can mock me beat me down and make fun of me and my eyes but theses eyes will be the last thing the akatsuki see." Xerin suddenly appeared infront of, behind, and on both sides of Hidan and used/said."Bun
shin Daibakuha (Clone Great Explosion)"
The smoke cleared from the blast, revealing a shadow standing in its midst. Hidan stood with his shoulders stooped clothes singed, and flesh missing in some places; but something was off. His skin was not black from the blast but from his curse. Hidan had sipped the vile of Xerin's blood he had collected earlier. "That must have hurt uchiha. Take a look around fool." He waved his arm to reveal the giant symbol of Jashin that covered the entire cavern that had been hard to see in the dim light.
Xerin was holding his side and coughing up blood."Your not to bright are you." he coughed up more blood. "I will kill you here in front of your god." Xerin smirked then laughed."You can't win Hidan. It was over before it began. You depend on Jashin to much Hidan and today Jashin will abandoned you and you will die. Now come and meet death with open arms Hidan rejoice for this will be your last day as a servant under a god who cannot save you."
"I depend on no one. I willfully serve my God! And you will die in his name." Hidan laughed manically eyes wide in uncontrollable laughter. "I cant die! What makes you think you can KILL ME? You are the scum of this earth! A trash uchiha hyuga mutt. Your eyes are mud compared to the renningan of pein's. Even the Nakini clan puts your precious eyes to shame. You depend to much on your vision and what those eyes can do for you, but it is your own demise, even if you live through this fight you will be blinded by its own backlash, not to mention the side effects of the byakugan." He laughed knowing all the drawbacks to the sharingan having fought Itachi numerous times.
Xerin shook his head."Its true I need these eyes to win but you need your curses and tricks to win as well. Without Jashin your just another 2-bit punk. You wouldn't be immortal, you wouldn't have any talent, nothing. Jashin as given you everything on a silver platter. My eyes are mine and my own power. I was born with it not had it given to me, but it doesn't matter what powers you have or how you got them its how you use them that makes you strong. Oh and drawbacks? Heh, my eyes are perfect they have no drawbacks. Well except the amount of chakara they drain but that isn't a problem after time and training."
"Shut your useless mouth and die!" Hidan sprinted foward releasing his three bladed scythe. One came down from up high the others swung in from both sides.
The blades ripped through Xerin and then he turned into a flock of ravens. Then Xerin reappeared behind Hidan and he shook his head."Its over Hidan. Now I will send you to your god."
"What exactly are you going to do?" Hidan smiled, he knew there was now way he could die, and even a massive jutsu would blow Xerin to kingdom come as well.
Xerin shook his head. "Ye of no intellect, think about it. I can teleport things and people. So all I have to do is teleport you some where like well hmm I don't know just off the top of my head a volcano. Your not as immortal as you think you body can still be damaged and if I destroy it completely then guess what you die along with it."
"Hehehe..ow so that is what this is about...such a simple plan no? Go ahead and do it." Hidan's smile spread all the way across his face. The great sages of war had been obliterated before and he saw what happened to them. "Lord Jashin will not allow me to be erased from existence as long as i serve him. I will be reincarnated at the alter of jashin!" Hidan Retracted his scythe and stabbed his right hand, keeping Xerin from performing handsigns.
Xerin looked at his hand and shook his head."Getting desperate are we? If your so sure of not dieing why are you beginning to become afraid of me?." Xerin laughed for a second. "Goodbye Hidan." Xerin teleported Hidan and himself outside far from the cave above a deep canyon."Now you can't run from my attack." Xerin activated his mangekyo sharingans inside of his byakugan then in a 7ft circumference on/around Hidan began to warp and look like he was inside a water bubble."So long Hidan. A blackhole is said not to destroy something just move it out of this dimension and warp and twist it for all eternity." With that Xerin closed his eyes and Hidan was gone he then teleported himself to Shikamaru and the others who were tracking Naruto.
"Your late." said Shikamaru.
Xerin scratched his head."Sorry I was having some fun with him. So have you found him yet?"
"Yes hes over this ridge, but we don't know if this is another trap. Hopefully he can handle the situation. I was told he was the 1st to pass the chunnin exams this year and that he had a special trait." said Shikamaru.
"Well we'll just have to wait and see. I still think you should of let them catch me I could of blown them away with my new jutsu I've been working on." said Naruto.
Justins protective shell kept him from being dissolved by the acid inside Zetsu. Once he was sure they were far enough away he released his naruto bunshin desgiuse and shot out of the shell landing in front of the plant ninja. "Surprise!"
Hidan Floated with his arms acroos his chest in "Dude this sucks.....i will kill that bastard." He pumped his fist in frustration. He focused and closed his eyes. Pein....i need a favor.
Two huge ringed eyes appeared in his vision. What?!?!?!
Im not exactly sure what, or where the hell i am but get ur guy to summon me back to where ever you guys are. Hidan huffed.
Fine.... There was a puff of smoke and hidan appeared before pein in the land of waves. "The uchiha bastard sent me to..I don't even know."
Ari glided out of a cloud of mist and nodded to Hidan, "it's been awhile, and I'm sorry about the mission failing and me having to abandon you and all," she hung her head in disappointment at herself.
"Don't worry about it, I thought I could handle it myself but I didn't expect that uchiha kid to know a time/space jutsu." Hidan nodded in atonement.
Hidan looked at ari. "Did you set those paper bombs in the cave? As i remember from tobi, time/space justu are open ended, leaving fractal tears in space like his. If you set off those bombs with enough of a chakra discharge it should reopen the rip to that black hole and suck those brats in."
Zetsu looked at Justin then he began to sink into the ground.
"Hey! get back here coward!" Justin shouted at the scene as his opponent began to get away. He dove at the spot where Zetsu had been.
It began to rain and water began to seep up out of the ground.
"Your....kidding me....water can only mean one person." Justin immediatly jumped back landing on a high rock jutting out of the ridge. He drew two kunia from his pouch and held them like reverse dirks.
The water continued to rise getting to 7-8 feet high then all the sudden Kisame used multiple Suiton: Suikodan no Jutsu (Water Release: Water Shark Bullet Technique) shooting them randomly out of the water in different directions.
Justin stood on the rock just above the water, crouching silently waiting for his opponent to show himself instead of attacking randomly.
Kisame used Suiton: Suiryudan no Jutsu (Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Technique) and the huge dragon came from above Justin as all the Sharks come towards Justin from all sides.
A smirk broke justin's face as his eyes flashed a brilliant silver. His right hand had two fingers up around the kunia as a mummer escaped his lips. "Kinzokusukin no jutsu(metal skin jutsu)...." His skin suddenly had a dull sheen as the dragon and sharks collided into him. The jutsu erupted in a rain of water reveling him in a hand pumped dynamic pose, not having been moved an inch.
A water lookalike of Kisame stood in the middle of the now lake and Kisame took form and was standing on the water and he let out a small smirk. "You remind me of that green jumpsuit bastard. I'll enjoy killing you."
"Kill me? What do you mean? I planned on going fishing today." Justin formed a fishing rod from a few spare kunai, complete with razor wire and a hook. He whipped it back and flicked it at the clone. "Here sharky, sharky, shark. I'm in the mood for Hakarl(icelandic dish made from fermented shark meat)"
Kisame used his sword and rapped the line around it then pulled Justin towards him and grinned widely.
"Smart one sushi boy." Justin pulled right back accelerating his movement through the air towards Kisame he pulled back and tried to deliver a stunning kick into his face while samehide was tied up at the moment.
Kisame made a few hand signs and shot up 5 sharks from the water by using Suiton: Goshokuzame (Water Release: Five Eating Sharks) all around himself.
Justin eased some slack on the fishing pole flicking out enough wire to send a wave down it slicing the first three in front in half. With a full frontal open he flew straight in ready to drop kick the akatsuki member.
Kisame turned into water then reappeared behind Justin grabbed his leg and threw him towards the water.
Justin sent a burst of chakra to his palm as he back hand sprigged back onto the little bit of boulder sticking out of the water. It just had to be kisame....no one else to fight? No it had to be the water guy. He the wire back to form the fishing pole into a reverse katana, and stood ready for an attack.
Kisame made some hand signs and used Suiton: Daibakufu no Jutsu (Water Release: Great Waterfall Technique) and combined it with Suiton: Goshokuzame (Water Release: Five Eating Sharks) and sent them both straight to Justin.
He quickly formed another katana in the other hand and crossed them in an x. He placed his boot at the cross section and threw himself headlong into the blast cutting through it and making his way through the middle towards kisame, since he couldn't see where he had gone.
Kisame appeared infront of justin pretty much just popping out of thin air and used Suiro no Jutsu (Water Prison Technique) except much larger then used Suiton: Goshokuzame (Water Release: Five Eating Sharks) inside of the prison and made the sharks swarm on Justin. "Heh looks like the shark caught you."
Or did i catch them? Justin formed the katana into a tight metal ball around his fist, with his eyes blazing silver. Then it erupted into a storm of senbon. They skewered the sharks and punctured the orb spraying at kisame.
Kisame jumped back and away enough to dodge the storm of senbons. "Tch...I'll have to defeat you with the power of my sword Samehada."
"Get rid of this water and ill fence with you." Justin managed to get out before his chakra couldn't support the enormous weight of his laden body and he sank into the eight feet of water.
Kisame laughed and the water sank into the ground and it stopped raining."Well then come and let my Samehada tear you to shreds." he smirked holding his sword out in front of him.
"And let Yamina slice you into billion cubes." Justin smirked as the water faded and he retrieved a scroll from his watertight pouch. He placed it on the ground and a puff off smoke brought a massive broadsword into his hand. The double length hilt lead to an intricate handguard, and up to a two foot by five and a half foot blade with odd tribal symbols carved into it. "A nakini heirloom, made of god knows what but tougher than anything in existence." He drew a defensive stance and waited.
Kisame looked at the sword with his eyebrow slightly raised."Nakini...Nakini...that sounds familiar ahhh I remember your clan heh heh they feed Samehada years ago heh I admit they were annoying but theres nothing Samehada can't tear through." he smirked and then rode on the little bit of water still on the ground to increase his speed heading straight at Justin.
Justin waited until kisame was only a few feet from him until he slammed the tip of the blade into the ground, to where kisame would run smack into it at his speed. Then He flipped up and over the hilt to deliver a dropping kick onto his attackers skull if he decided to halt away from the blade and keep his distance. Doubtful, no one is allowed in or out of chisiogakure unless its by the chikage's clearance. He thought to himself.
Kisame turned into water."Heh your pretty tough." Kisame was stand behind Justin with his back facing Justin's."But I've used all most all 30% of my chakra so I'll have to call it a day." he began walking away."Ja ne"
"What the hell? Don't you walk away from me fish face!" He spun the hilt in the palm of his hand and swung it around his shoulder like it was feather light. "It doesn't take chakra for swordplay!"
Kisame stopped for a second."Look kid I'd love to play with you but I have better things to do I was to distract you from Zetsu thats all."
After that was said Zetsu popped up out of the ground and ate Justin.
"Bad idea salad boy! Ill give you indigestion." Justins eyes could be seen as two bright shining dots peering out from zetsu's middle. Monkey, horse, tiger, dragon. Senbon ame no jutsu! The metal stored in his chain and in the plates in his clothes erupted in an explosion of thousands of senbon.
Kisame turned and shook his head."You think he can die that easy?"
Zetsu used Bôka no Jutsu(Attack Prevention Technique) turning his body into rock then used Surubutsu(Sharp Plant Technique) and made all the leaves on a near by tree become razor sharp and as strong as steel and made them fly directly at Justin as Zetsu sank back into the ground leaving Justin half in and out of the ground.
Crap! I'm out of metal. Gotta improvise! Justin's eyes shone again as he slammed his fist into the dirt gathering all the zinc from the dirt around him. "Kinzokusukin no jutsu." It raced up his arm forming a mediocre shell with what he had available. The leaves hit the shell causing massive dents and bruising beneath. When the shrapnel had settled he planted both hands on the ground and pushed himself out of the ground.
Zetsu came out of the ground and used Surubutsu(Sharp Plant Technique) to shoot the petals off the miscellaneous flowers and weeds growing near by at Justin.
Kisame jumped up above Justin swinging his sword down at him to prevent escape."Heh how are you gonna get out of this kid."
"Like this! Umi ken no jutsu!" Justin placed his hands on the ground pulling out every bit of metal ore and mineral around him. It formed and shot up in a wave of blades. They cut him off from the shots and now all kisame had to land on was a high carpet of blades with no opening.
Kisame made some hand signs and used Suiton: Daibakufu no Jutsu (Water Release: Great Waterfall Technique)and flooded the area then rode the water away.
Justin stood on the tips of the blades with no apparent head of the points. He tapped his ear to activate the communicator. "Xerin, i got double teamed and the plant and shark guy got away." he huffed.
Xerin blinked."I forgot I had this damn thing on." he laughed."Well at least you can say you fought two akatsuki members and not only lived but scared them away."
Kakashi arrived to help Justin and Shikamaru arrived to help Xerin.
"Your alittle late to help...but I can't shake this feeling like its not over like something big is gonna happen." said Xerin.
"The plant guy wasn't much of a fighter and all kisame did was piss me off. Damn water and crud...." The last bit was more of a mumble. Justin sighed, "You stay on your toes, hidan seemed to easy to beat."
at the akatsuki hideout

Xerin nodded then Shikamaru and Xerin met up with Kakashi and Justin."Wait a minute...Aren't we missing some people. I mean wheres Tsome and Naruto?"
"I'm not sure their not in radio range but Tsome is a sage and Naruto was trained under one so they should be safe." said Shikamaru.
Xerin's eyes squinted alitte as if he didn't believe Shikamaru but after looking Shikamaru in the eyes for a second he realized he wasn't lying."All right so shall we look for them or just head back?"
"Kakashi summon four of your hounds and we will use them to track and if someone finds them we can use the dogs to contact each other."said Shikamaru
Kakashi summoned his dogs and they all split up one dog a piece.
Justin had just broken through the clearing on top of what looked like a mountian board made of metal. He had his thoughts collected about him as he rode back to the group.What goods a sage when your a...nevermind. "Yo! Dont worry bout tsome-dono, but the blonde kid might need some help. I have the distinct feeling i know where he might have run off to."
